Speakers:
James Netto – James specializes in all areas of
private and public childrens law. He has been instructed on the first
1980 Hague Convention case between Japan and the UK, the first reported
case of a child being returned to Algeria, the first reported case of a
child being returned to Sudan, and the first case concerning the 1996
Hague Convention to reach the UK Supreme Court.
Melissa Kucinski – a fellow of the International
Academy of Family Lawyers, has served on delegations to the last two
Special Commission meetings on the 1980 and 1996 Conventions, is a
member of the Department of State’s Advisory Committee on Private
International Law, and the Uniform Law Commission’s Joint Editorial
Board on Uniform Family Laws.
